Double Tree Hotel – Maryland Heights, MO
The Hyatt Westport was converted into the DoubleTree Westport by Hilton. This project took only 3 months to complete 15,000 square feet of renovation. The project, totaling roughly $1.6 million, consisted of work over 8 floors, working at a pace of 2 weeks per floor. Challenges for this project include the coordination of Owner supplied items from overseas and mold issues that were present behind the existing wall covering.
Union Station – St. Louis, MO
Acted as the Construction Manager at-risk for the renovation of the National Historic Landmark hotel reflag from Hyatt to Marriot. Due to the unique historical nature of this undertaking, strict adherence to historical preservation guidelines was followed. The 539 room renovation included a complete reconfiguration of lobby areas, conference rooms, restaurant and retail space inside the facility.
Residence Inn – O’Fallon, MO
Marriott hotels awarded us the build of the 3-story, 123 room Residence Inn in O’Fallon, Missouri. The $9 million dollar project, which features an indoor pool and outside tennis/basketball court, took roughly eight months to complete and was built using wood construction. Upon completion of this project, we were awarded the Aloft Hotel in Phoenix, AZ and a Hyatt in Salt Lake City, UT.
Best Western Plus – 4576 Woodson Road
Milestone is currently constructing an 82 room, 42,600 square foot wood frame hotel. This hotel will be a breath of fresh air amongst the older businesses and buildings located within the City of Woodson Terrace. The front exterior of the building will feature a porte cochere by the main entrance doors and stone and EFIS materials with a red and gray color scheme. Inside the hotel, there is a meeting room, 460-square-foot indoor pool, fitness center, cocktail area, and marketplace.
Construction on the hotel started in April of 2019 and is scheduled to wrap up in April of 2020. The spring of 2019 brought very favorable construction weather, so we were able to go from slab to under roof in two months; which is a huge accomplishment for us and the Owner. Being under a roof allows work to continue inside despite the weather conditions. Included below are some pictures.
